  TRAMA:
  
  Andrew, diciannove anni, sogna di diventare uno dei migliori
batteristi di jazz della sua generazione. Ma la concorrenza è spietata al conservatorio di Manhattan dove si esercita
con accanimento. Il ragazzo ha come obiettivo anche quello di entrare in una delle orchestre del conservatorio, diretta
dall'inflessibile e feroce professore Terence Fletcher. Quando infine riesce nel suo intento, Andrew si lancia, sotto la
sua guida, alla ricerca dell’eccellenza. 
  
  STORYLINE:
 

  A young and talented drummer attending a prestigious music academy finds himself under the wing of the most
respected professor at the school, one who does not hold back on abuse towards his students. The two form an odd
relationship as the student wants to achieve greatness, and the professor pushes him.
