Description

 							Filmmaker Brett Morgen examines the history of the Rolling Stones, from their London debut in 1962 as a group of
blues-obsessed bad boys to their status as the "World's Greatest Rock and Roll Band."
  
  The film is a
series of interviews conducted without cameras, while showing various points of interest that the band is discussing as
archival footage. The title of the film comes from the first line of the band's 1968 hit "Jumpin' Jack Flash".
 

  On their 50th anniversary, the Rolling Stones, with the support of archive footage and interviewed by director
Brett Morgen, retrace the first 20 years of career. In particular, the film shows the beginning, the success among the
youth of the sixties and the initial contrast media with the Beatles. The exceptional musical talent of Brian Jones; the
first songs written; the concerts between the girls' hysteria and the boys' aggressiveness that resulted in fights with
the police. The intake of drugs by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards and their arrest, the musical contribution of Brian
Jones that was waning due to excessive use of drugs, and his death a few weeks after the separation from the band. Mick
Taylor's debut concert in Hyde Park in memory of Jones and the return to world tours. The awful organization of the
Altamont Free Concert. Their escape from the taxes in 1971. The exile in a villa on the French Riviera, where was
recorded Exile on Main St.. The decision of Mick Taylor to leave the band and the arrival of Ronnie Wood that sets and
brings a new fresh air. Until to the arrest of Keith Richards in Canada for possession of heroin and his decision to
detoxify to safeguard the future of the band.
