  The
Last of Us - this adventure survival-action, designed specifically for the PlayStation studio Naughty Dog. In the story
of the game, plagued humanity of the 21st century - the so-called Cordyceps fungus, which is widely used in cosmetics
worldwide. For unknown reasons, the fungus began to mutate, and humanity was threatened with extinction.
  
 
Millions, if not billions of people died, were infected with an aggressive fungus, while others have turned into
terrifying monsters. Only a handful of people have managed to survive, but their lives are fraught with constant danger,
hunger and many other "flaws" destruction of civilization. Cities were destroyed, and their ruins violently stretched
Mother Nature, winning deserted territory. Instead of rallying the survivors after a global catastrophe people are
fighting each other for food and other necessities for the existence of resources. In these bleak conditions here and
has to be the heroes of The Last of Us - a man with a hazy past named Joel and Ellie teenage girl.
  
  Joel
has over forty years, and he remembers the world before the disaster, as the action of The Last of Us takes place twenty
years after the beginning of the epidemic. Joel can not be considered so much a positive character - in his youth he was
involved with drugs and arms trafficking, and the tragedy occurred is not particularly influenced his outlook and
character. However, it needs to adapt to the situation and to move away from vagrancy style lone wolf. In Boston, he
meets Ellie, that simply can not survive without support. Willy-nilly, Joel has to look after her, with Ellie - very
independent teenager and not once will help Joel in a difficult situation. Ellie does not know any other world, she was
born at the height of the epidemic. With the passage of The Last of Us, Ellie becomes almost Joel's daughter, and he
will do everything to protect and defend it.
  
  Together they have to explore different parts of the former
United States of America, hoping to find a better life - without gangsters, violence and monsters. Unfortunately, not
everything is so simple, and the heroes of The Last of Us has to literally fight for their existence. Ammunition and
weapons in the normal The Last of Us is very small, so the cause is all that comes to hand. Self-made melee weapon - the
key to the survival of Joel and Ellie. Duration of shootings and mass carnage in The Last of Us is not expected, but the
tense atmosphere of terror and hopelessness overrides this "flaw" with a vengeance.
