This release was audio/video synced by Stuffies so no PROPER is required.



I have taken the STG (Stuffies 2nd TS release) and encoded it in x264, lowering the massive file size (1.36GB) to less
than a third (318MB) it's original size and still retained very good quality, even when the screen is enlarged to a
larger size. It is very comparable to the XVid STG release. Enlarging the screen size is where video artifacts become
much more visible in most other small x264 releases, it's okay looking at video size pictures, but it does not show what
the video looks like when it is enlarged. That is where the 300MB style x264 releases really begin to suck and I have
seen a great deal of that recently. I don't believe that 300MB gives acceptable quality at a reasonable resolution. Not
when it is enlarged anyway, it may look okay at small postcard size but anything more and the image quality becomes
poor. A good x264 release in a small size is very rare. So I have included some images of this release enlarged to my
usual working Display Resolution of 1280x1024 to give an idea what the video would look like if sent to a HD display.

Full screen size Media Player enlarged images (1280 horizontal size) (Note these were captured directly from Media
Player Classic and cropped so may be of slightly different sizes). Enlarging small x264 releases really shows what the
true quality is like. I urge everyone to enlarge other small x264 releases to test the quality. Look for video artifacts
such as fringes and blurriness which is usually visible on the majority of releases I have seen.

Enhanced Version 318MB improved Video and Audio quality



The noise which was present on the original Russian Video that the majority of the releases use has been filtered to
lessen it but still retain detail using a slow but very high quality de-noise filter. Then a modest sharpening to edges
has been done to improve the quality of video from a Cam. The Audio uses a slightly higher bitrate than the regular
unprocessed encode which was done first to improve the Audio quality slightly. I think it looks pretty good, still a Cam
but a very high quality one. It is NOT a DVDRip or anything approaching that sort of quality. If you want anything
better, then wait for a R5.

Is it just me or does this image have a lot of depth to it? Looks kind of 3D if you look at it focussing on the water
