Since 2003, IRC used to put out
compendiums of books from IRC... For the last few years, they were put out by a guy named "Old Nick".. a few
months ago he changed his name to "Old Old Nick" and stopped answering emails.. (he's NOT dead, just
incommunicado)
Since there are many people that enjoy the monthly IRC torrents, we decided to put out an Alternate
(with a few changes).. These are combined from many different sources (MIRC, Usenet, Torrents, Email, etc), and all
already in a Calibre Library

They are complete, Deduped, commonly cleaned and converted (to Formats that
support metadata like .epub PDF or .mobi), have covers, metadata Checked/Updated, are polished, are all in ready to use
Calibre Libraries, most in .epub format
3,579 Books in a 6.39 GB Calibre Library

The Libraries can be
used standalone, or merged with/copied to YOUR Calibre Library, or even imported into your existing non calibre
libraries

To help organize, an extra file (catalog) of the contents of that library, is in a .CSV format
(Catalog.csv in the main directory)
 
The Folders are arranged by author, with subfolders for each book under
it with the actual ebook file, and cover, and can be used with most other file/library managers...

If you
already have or use calibre, just open it as an existing library.

If you don't have Calibre but would

or you can even get the no install

If you don't have Calibre or
have no desire to try it, each epub has the cover and metadata inside it, and can be used with any other file or library
manager. 

if you use Calibre, the following Standard Columns/Fields are also available

Modified Date, Date, Size, Rating, Publisher, Published, Languages

For every torrent, there is a
machine readable file with all the Major info (Author Series Title Format Etc) in CSV format that can be read by a
variety of programs named "Catalog.csv"

first of all we wish nick well, and hope the normal Monthly
IRC's return, but in the meantime we will keep creating this Alternate (with books from MANY sources) we have had a
few suggestions for improvements in the meantime, (Decomma Author names <Single Authors done 11/16>, single
