Description
Synopsis: Marek tracks down the Necromance for a final showdown for the Darkspore.
Review: The story of Marek’s adventure continues in the third chapter in which everything that could go wrong for our heroes does.
The movie starts with a little bit of Wizard training with Gojun Pye , but the story soon gets going when a hired thug kidnaps and tortures Thane.
Obviously Marek aided by Dagan and Teela set out on a quest to both rescue Thane, but their mission soon takes on a duel purpose. You see it would seem that Thane’s abduction is a ruse set up by the Necromancer in order to draw Marek out into the open for a final showdown.
This has to be both the strongest and darkest chapter in the Mythica films to date.
See not only is Marek tasked with attempting to rescue her friend Thane. She winds up having to take the life of one in order to do it, which makes for the series most dramatic scenes to date.
The young cats of these movies has just got better and better with each movie and having grown quite attached I was sad to see one member of this group of friends go.
CGI wise this film has to be the strongest to date as well, but its really the camera work and cinematography on display here that is quite breath taking.
You can see this and the other two Mythica movies over at ConTV.
This is definitely the strongest out of the trilogy.
Bring on movie number four is all I can say because this one film alone has really show where this group of characters can go.
